The City of Belleville would like to advise residents that clearing work for the Parkville Greens (formerly Hanley Park) subdivision has begun in the City’s east end.

Belleville City Council approved the execution of a subdivision agreement and final approval of the plan of Parkville Greens Subdivision – Phase 1 during last night’s Council meeting.

Phase 1 of the project will tie into the existing road network at Bridge Street East and eventually Janlyn Crescent.

The proposed layout for this first phase will consist of 44 single-detached dwellings and 15 blocks, containing 71 townhouse units. Construction will also include a new east-west road named Lincoln Drive which will tie into the existing Janlyn Crescent, a new north-south street named Glacier Crescent, a new east-west and north-south road named Bradden Crescent, and the reconstruction of existing Bridge Street East.
